Ares Games has announced the release of the first expansion for War Of The Ring: The Card Game, to be called Against The Shadow. The expansion will bring cooperative and solo play options to the base game.
While the base game pits a Shadow side against a Free Peoples side, this expansion will include new Shadow cards which will be used with an included flowchart to automate the Shadow side, so that the Free Peoples side can be played by one or two players.
Against The Shadow will make its debut at the UK Games Expo in June of 2023.
