Hornby Hobby PLC has acquired a 25% equity stake in games publisher Warlord Games. Hornby is best known for its business in the model train hobby. Hornby and Warlord have worked together on the game, Blood Red Skies. The stake agreement opens the option for Hornby to acquire a greater percentage in the future. For now it’s just a financial parternership, as Warlord will keep its current management team.
