Ravensburger has announced the next set for its Disney-themed Lorcana trading card game. And no, it won’t be called The Second Chapter, but rather, Rise of the Floodborn.
The set includes more than 200 cards with all-new art. Winnie the Pooh, Tiana, and other popular characters will appear for the first time as Lorcana cards. Six new Disney stories will be added in the set:
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
- Pinocchio
- Zootopia
- The Great Mouse Detective
- The Jungle Book
- Raya and the Last Dragon
A new Keyword will be added with this set, Resist. Resist is a damage reducer. For example, a character with Resist + 2 would ignore two points of damage dealt to them.
Lorcana: Disney100 Edition
Ravensburger will also release a special collector’s set called Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition. Each pack will contain six cards from The First Chapter and six from Rise of the Floodborn, with new, alternate art drawn by animators from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Each card in this set has an exclusive frame design and satin holographic finish, along with the animator’s signature. Each set will also contain four Booster Packs from Rise of the Floodborn.
All this is coming first to local game stores on November 17th, with a mass market release on December 1st.
