Games Workshop (GW) has revealed some information about three upcoming 40k-based board games. All of these feature push-fit models for easy, glueless assembly, and should take around 30 minuets to play. Let’s take a look at each!
Space Marine: The Board Game
First up is Space Marine: The Board Game. It’s a companion game to the videogame, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. It features Captain Titus fighting against a horde of Tyranids. This’ll be the Captain rendered in his first-ever miniature!

In total, the game offers 23 miniatures, dice, a ruler, a game board, and a 40-page rulebook with lore and missions.
The game comes exclusively to Target stores in North America later this month, but GW tells us “a similar game will be coming to other territories later this year.”
Combat Arena: Lair Of The Beast

Next up is Combat Arena: Lair Of The Beast. This game is for 2-4 players and includes a mixed collection of minis. There are ten different characters to play, including a Space Marine Sergeant and a self-aware robot. Players compete against each other and an alien creature, Ambull, in the arena.

Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set

Finally, there’s the new starter set for the Warhammer Underworlds game. It includes two full warbands; the Ironsoul’s Condemnors and Sepulchral Guard. There are also a 32-card Rivals deck, over 100 tokens, and two complete rulebooks.
