Board game publisher Petersen Games has officially announced a partnership with Catalyst Game Labs. Under this arrangement, Catalyst will help with publishing duties for Petersen titles, both already released and coming up. Petersen Games will remain in charge of game design for its own titles, while Catalyst will hand manufacturing, marketing, and so forth.
Sandy Petersen is a venerable game industry professional and the designer of the original Call of Cthulhu tabletop role playing game, as well as several digital games including the Age Of Empire series. More recently, Petersen Games has published the popular Cthulhu Wars board game.
Catalyst will help Petersen with fulfillment on some open kickstarter campaigns. This comes after Catalyst recently announced a specific, dedicated board game division of its own.
