After a successful kickstarter campaign, a board game based on the popular videogame The Last Of Us is now available for pre-order. Called The Last Of Us: Escape The Dark, it’s published by Themeborne, who also publish board games Escape The Dark Castle and Escape The Dark Sector. The new game is built on the same underlying Escape The Dark system as other Themeborne games, but adds some complexity especially for its mechanics and theme.
The Last Of Us: Escape The Dark can be played solo or co-op multiplayer (with up to five players). It’s a bit of a minimast dungeon crawler with horrific themes, and game rules for crafting and stealth.
The game will be released in early 2024.
