Update On Lawsuit: Upper Deck Suing Ravensburger Over Lorcana Trading Card Game

The Upper Deck Company, makers of memorabilia, trading cards, and trading card games, has announced that it is suing Ravensburger over the trading card game, Lorcana, which Ravensburger developed for Disney.

In the complaint, Upper Deck claims that a former employee who was lead designer of a game called Rush Of Ikorr, abandoned the game mid-development. That employee then went to Ravensburger and worked on the Lorcana game. Upper Deck says this employee used previously developed work for Rush Of Ikorr in the development of Lorcana.

Ravensburger so far has said that they have not been served with any such complaint.
