Mantic Games has announced two new, upcoming games, each based on a franchise celebrating its 20th anniversary. The games are The Walking Dead: The Dice Game and Invincible: The Board Game.
Mantic is working with Skybound Entertainment, owners of the intellectual property for each game. Skybound was actually founded by Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Wakling Dead. Mantic and Skybound have previously worked together on the miniatures board game, Walking Dead: All Out War.
Both games will be released in late 2023 during the anniversary celebrations for the comic book debuts of The Walking Dead and Invincible. But pre-launch copies will be available to play at San Diego Comic-Con in July and Gen Con in August.
