Need a new project or just want to upgrade an existing army? Look no further than the limited time Battleforces for your Warhammer 40,000 Christmas wish list. Each boxed set contains a wide selection of versatile units and options for the gamer and hobbyist alike.
At this time, Games Workshop has not released the MSRP for Battleforce boxes. However, I’ve included the total value for each box if bought individually. This post will be updated once prices release.
Space Marines – Interdiction Force

Support special ops in power armor with the Space Marine Interdiction Force. Phobos armored troops and commander form the core with a Space Marine Primaris Captain in Phobos Armor, 10 Reivers, and 10 Infiltrators (or Incursors). An Impulsor provides transport. While the Invictor Tactical Warsuit provides fire support for the ground pounders.
Total value, $291.00.
Necrons – Eradication Legion

Cleanse the living from your galaxy with the Necron Eradication Legion. A Technomancer leads a versatile collection of infantry with 10 Necron Warriors, 5 Immortals (or Deathmarks), and 5 Triarch Praetorians (or Lychguard). They bring along powerful air and ground based weapons on the Doom Scythe (or Night Scythe) and the Triarch Stalker. In support, a Canoptek Spider assists with vehicle repairs and spawns replacement Canoptek Scarab Swarms.
Total value, $319.00
Astra Militarum – Bastion Platoon

Not one step back with a well dug in Astra Militarum Bastion Platoon. Your officer leads a command squad and two squads of guardsmen backed up by a heavy weapon platoon to hold critical objectives. Mobile elements include a Chimera transport, an Armored Sentinel (or Scout version) and anti-air support from a Hydra. Alternately, build the Hydra as a Wyvern and slam them from out of LOS.
Total value, $286.00
Chaos Space Marine – Decimation Warband

Burn it all down with the Chaos Space Marine Decimation Warband! Your force starts with a hard core of infantry, 10 Chaos Space Marines, 5 Havocs, and 5 Terminators, led by a thunder hammer wielding Chaos Lord. A Forgefiend provides additional long range fire support. Or build it as a Maulerfiend to savage the enemy in melee.
Total value, $280.00
T’au Empire – Starpulse Cadre

Take up arms for the Greater Good! With the Starpulse Cadre, the T’au Empire takes to the battlefield with well trained Firewarriors, advanced Crisis Suits, and drone swarms. Your battlesuit-clad Commander leads a three-man team of XV8 Crisis Battlesuits supported by a hard hitting XV88 Broadside battlesuit. A Fire Warrior Strike Team provides long range small arm. Meanwhile, Pathfinders support with advanced weapons and massed marker lights. Finally, the rapid moving TX4 Piranha hunts enemy armor and provides emergency reinforcement as needed.
Oh, don’t forget the humble drone! There are too many to count.
Total Value, $309.00.
Tyrands – Brood Swarm

Some want to watch the galaxy burn. Others, like yourself, look on it as an all-you-can-eat buffet! Consume mass quantities of biomass with the Tyranid Brood Swarm. This year the Hive Fleet deploys a mighty Hive Tyrant (or maybe the Swarmlord) and your choice of an Exocrine or Haruspex. Supporting your large monsters are 3 Tyrant Guard (Hive Guard), 10 flying Gargoyles, and 16 stealthy Genestealers.
Total value, $277.00
